Film & TV
We are inviting all aspiring and professional producers, writers, directors, performers, developers, and crew members to attend our conference. Many of our presentations will dive into the intricacies of navigating the film industry from financing projects to getting agents, joining unions, copyright, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from professionals working in the industry, ask them questions, and connect with other filmmakers in Southwestern Ontario and beyond. Local media companies will attend and may be seeking to hire up-and-coming filmmakers to join their ranks. Keep an eye out here for our official list of guests and presentations coming soon.
Several of our panels will focus on interactive media development and production such as video games and mobile apps. We are encouraging anyone working in the interactive media industry or who are interested in learning about it to attend the event. Keep an eye out here for our official list of guests and presentations related to interactive media.
Online Content Creators
From social media influencers to webseries, online advertising and more, online content is one of the fastest growing– and most in-demand — sectors of media arts. Several of our panels and presentations will be dedicated to helping you learn about the world and business of online content creation. Keep an eye out here for our official list of guests and presentations coming soon.
Although there may not be presentations specifically targeted towards graphic and web design, we are encouraging all digital designers to participate. Topics like working with clients, media arts as a business, diversity and representation, creating opportunities, copyright, and more will be covered throughout the weekend. The event will also give digital designers the opportunity to network with those in other media arts fields. Keep an eye out here for our official list of guests and presentations coming soon.
